Avani Palm View Hotel Dubai

This is a Mixed Use Development is a 200m high rise comprises of 4 podium levels, 16 serviced apartment levels and 27 hotel levels in Al Sofouh, Dubai. This was a AED 668,092,900 construction project.

A raft slab supported by 402nr of piles with a diameter ranges from 750mm to 1500mm. 600mm thick raft at out side the towers foot prints, 3000mm, 6000mm and 7250mm thick rafts for towers.

The structure consists of concrete frame and post-tension floor construction at typical floors. 400mm to 600mm thick shear and core walls.

The majority of the slab at basement and podium is 300mm to 400mm thick flat slab.

The tower consists of 240mm and 300mm thick post-tensioned slabs spanning between perimeter columns/ shear walls and central core walls at towers.

External walls are made of glazed unitise & stick curtain walls, ACP panels cladding, metal louvers, GRC claddings and glass balustrades.

We acted as Quantity Surveyors under previous employment for the full Pre Contract element of this project, the culmination of this service related to the Bills of Quantity which the project was procured using.

The piling contract was on a re-measurement basis and the main works were fixed price lump sum.
